Tubbs Named MVC Volleyball Freshman of the Week
Tubbs ended her freshman season with 33 blocks in 14 matches with six starts for the Bulldogs. She also added 30 kills while hitting .274. She helped the Bulldogs finish 17-15 on the season for the program’s first winning record since 2010. In the Bulldogs’ 3-1 win at Indiana State, she hit .412 with a career-high nine kills and nine blocks to account for 14.5 points. She had two kills in a 6-1 run that helped the Bulldogs rally take the first set and then had two of the Bulldogs’ final three kills in a 34-32 win in set two against the Sycamores.
