The South African leggie, who turned 40 just a few weeks ago, has been bowling Chennai Super Kings to memorable victories in the ongoing season.Tahir has added a lot of colour to the Chennai Super Kings camp with the way he celebrates his wickets. In eight matches, the leg-spinner has picked up 13 wickets and has conceded at less than six runs an over.On Sunday, Tahir broke the back of Kolkata Knight Riders’ batting unit and fired Chennai Super Kings to a five-wicket win. Tahir helped CSK negate the Andre Russell threat as the veteran spinner removed the big-hitting West Indies star for just 10 runs.Tahir also removed an in-form Chris Lynn, who was threatening to take the game away from CSK with a 51-ball 82.Shedding light on his famous sprint celebration, Tahir told IPLT20.com: “Sometimes, my wife and son are here, and I want to show them that I love them as much as I love CSK, so at times, I run towards them. But normally, I don’t know when I am celebrating, I hope that people like this. Pray to Allah, I keep taking wickets like this and celebrating like this.advertisement”Being here is like a dream for me. Now that I am here, I pray I do not lose out on the opportunity. I am thankful to God that I am on this platform, playing the best league in the world, representing CSK, one of the best teams in the world,” Tahir added after Chennai’s 7th win of the season on Sunday.Tahir now also holds the record for picking up the most wickets in the Indian Premier League after the age of 35 with 66 wickets.
